A dock
Big things are happening in the next month! We've started to prep A dock for the installation of Fingers and will soon shift them from their storage location in Colwood to Lang Cove for installation.
What this means for you:
The western side of A dock will have work underway sporadically as our rock anchors and brackets are installed. Please don't park any boats there. There will be machinery working on A dock, so be aware that you might not have unfettered access at all times.
While our volunteers did a great job grinding down some metal protrusions today, there is a possibility that anything coming in contact with the west side of A dock could be damaged by either bare concrete or that metal.
For the reasons above, club boats going to/from A dock should be parked on the East side, next to Volovent III (pictured)
Volunteer support will be required sometime around the 12th/13th of February in order to shift fingers around. Stay tuned for news!
Yes, we have some club boats out of commission at the moment. We're working to fix that and hope to have enough to accommodate everyone soon. In the interim, please have patience and help each other out by shuttling your friends around the marina.
Racers, this means bringing the boats back to STC before we head out tomorrow morning!
